mmmmm...spaghetti

I have decided that playing with my food is a lot more fun than eating it. I tend to start off with the intention to EAT my food.. but then I get bored and want to have some fun. My new game is to make my parents believe that I love to eat and then to start throwing it off the tray, onto the floor.. .OR onto my head. It is really fun to make a mess with tomato sauce. I don't get it that often (I wonder why?).. but when I do... it is like red finger paint. I go NUTS!

Lately I have totally vetoed vegetables. My mom sneaks spinach into my quesadilla or coats my broccoli with cream of mushroom.. then I will eat it. It tasted good that way! I prefer white foods (ie..tortillas,pears,chicken,pasta,string cheese, club crackers, pancakes and bananas). I think I will continue to be stubborn for awhile. It is fun to watch my mom get frusterated when I don't eat veggies. I just smile and laugh at her...

My beautiful family

Here we are at baby beach taking our annual photo.

Does Hawaiian sand taste different than Okinawan sand?

Hmmmm... yes.. there is a slight difference.. Okinawan sand is a little bit fishier.. this sand has a finer consistency and tastes of tropical fruit!

Hula Girl

Here I am taking a break after dancing the Hula with Mason.

Aloha from Kauai

In January I met my family in Kauai. My Great Grandpa John, Gramma Kris (tu tu in hawaiian), Grandpa Oggie, Aunt Marisa, Uncle Mike and Cousin Mason all came over to see my Mom, Dad and I. We stayed in a huge house. I saw sea turtles, whales, monk seals and much more from my balcony. It was amazing! I loved the beach. I spent all day playing in the water and sand. My favorite times was when my uncle and dad would dig me a huge hole to sit in and splash in the water. I even got a little bit of a tan (imagine that!). I think we should move to Hawaii. It was so much fun.

Paige at 10 months

Hello everyone. I was told this is an easy way to keep everyone up to date on Paige... so, I am going to try it out. Paige is turned 10 months on the 2nd of February. She also started pushing a tooth up and out this past week. Her first one yet. We were beginning to wonder if she was going to get them? We were enjoying her gumless grin and she didn't seem to need teeth, since she manages to eat everything anyway. Paige is talking all the time. She can say, "hi kitty"... amazing, I know.. but we always knew she would be an early talker.. look at her mother! She loves to wave hello and goodbye and gives us a lot of hugs and kisses. Paige is a true ham!
